Default All gas levels have ethanol now

My father in law was saying over the weekend that quietly the gas stations now have ethanol on all gasolines levels including 91-94 octane

cannot Confirm if true but he insisted that it’s true and your small engines stuff will get gummed up now lol

something to watch out

Been that way for years around here. No ethanol 87 up to almost $5/gal here.

Here too. Have to seek out non-eth fuel if you want it.

Well in Canada I use shell personally and 91 is suppose to have 0 ethanol and 87 may contain up to 10 % ethanol

Is ethanol something to worry about? I honestly never check if I need gas I just go to the nearest pump or whoever is cheap and fill up 89 octane. I also live in Canada if that means anything.

Some people are afraid of change. Others worry about it eating rubber lines that weren't designed with ethanol in mind (think classic/antique cars). Some claim it gives worse fuel mileage. I've not seen an issue with it in my Rover.

With my D1 I did get a bit better gas mileage with 91+ octane and maybe a fraction better with pure gas 91+ but in the end at $1+ more per gallon I just do not see it making sense
