Default Aluminum coolant tank- Almost here!

I know I’ve been teasing the group, but it’s a reality. Tanks are all QC’d and packed. We are shipping them by air, just waiting for the quote. Should be able to start shipping in 2 weeks or less.

- 5052 dull finish aluminum tank with full polish cap.

- Sight glass made of high temp poly carbonate with high temp silicone gasket and stainless screws

- 5052 dull finish bleeder T with dowty washer and stainless bleeder screw.

- OEM style spring clamp for T(x3) and clamp for large hose on tank(x1)

- Stainless worm drive clamps for smaller hoses on tank(x2)

Final price still depends on shipping quote, TBD.

Really cool! Wish it had been ready when my coolant tank broke last month. I keep missing your parts by a few weeks.

Abran, I have been holding off on my coolant reflush in excited anticipation of your coolant tank. A key advantage over the overseas Allisport one is the presence of the sight glass in your offering. Plus, I am certainly supporting your effort to offer value added special items to the Disco community. Plus, you are an overall stand up guy as I have seen you do the right thing to back up your products.

i already have an aluminum T-joint. I will certainly buy the coolant tank. Just let us know when we can hit the PayPal button. Cheers!

^ Thank you. We had originally decided to stock and sell Allisport tanks. We made a deal to buy 5 as a test order, long story short, after having our money for four months they came back and said they could not deliver with the sight glass. At this point we just decided to make ourselves.

I have a good friend and ex colleague who is Chinese and lives in China and he lives within driving distance of the factories we use to develop products. Luckily for us he is able to help with quality control and assurance and this particular factory are professionals at making aluminum tanks, intakes, etc. So we have been able to rely on my friend and the factory for their knowledge in these products.

Here is a different tank they make and an intake for an LS motor:
