Its the second. 7 and 8 are too short once relocated. Need a 2nd set to rob from. 3/4/5/6 are the best fit imho but 1 or 2 work too, just way too long.

An idea for a product.

A better rear door stay, for the trunk door.
I know there's the Devon4x4 gas strut, but it still needs the stock stay.

And we all know the pins are an issue on these...

Can we expect a custom ignition wire set anytime soon?

Not currently planned. Part of my motivation for the kit was to enable the use of non-custom wires so if needed you could quickly replace on the trail or road. I carry a spare in the storage bins. Of course, the factory set can be easily customized to be just the right length by shortening the wires, but then you would not be able to use any wire in any position. Of course custom fit wires would clean up the engine compartment, maybe I should do a video on how to shorten the factory set?

Good input, keep the ideas coming! I have already had a request for a parallelogram rear tire carrier that mounts to the bumper (that will be after the bumper of course - exciting (patent filed!!!) bumpers coming!). You are not the only one concerned about the weight of the door and tire on the factory hinges.

I will probably do a longer blog post as some point, but my intent is to differentiate the products by bringing more value through a value engineering focus. I could do what everyone else has done and sink tons of hours in to niche products that are expensive to produce and expensive to buy, but that doesn't add value to the community. I am going to strive to add value by leveraging my 35 years in leading design in manufacturing industries and print engineered solutions that are a great value too!
