So if you're experienced in living out of a vehicle, why take out a title loan with usury rates? Why not just live in your DII until better times like you did when you owned your DI?

Car living sux. But a disco nap is not too bad.
My last year of high school and a while after, I spent 2.5 yrs living in an '81 Toyota single cab 4x4. Pita.....I'm 6'6". Most mornings I'd wake up, step out, and fall to my knees because I'd forget my legs were asleep.
Got a membership to , then, presidents health club..... Cheapest way I could sort out a warm shower. Fun stuff! Disco would definitely be doable.

I lived in a tent in Oregon for 2 months when I was 20ish. Out of choice, but still pretty rough. I had a Honda 650 to get around. The rain sucked, but it was a growing experience. Ate Potatoes and Pancakes cooked over the fire in a Cast Iron Pan for about half of that time. Didn't have oil or salt, or anything else, so most of the time, they were burnt.

Good Times!

I never specified why i needed the loan and the majority of it was not used on my Rover. Not many options for people in desperate need of extra cash, so these title loan companies capitalize on it and charge horrendous interest. Being homeless or living out of a car is no joke paul, Ive lived out of a a couple times in my life and it was nothing to joke about. Some of us come from humble beginnings and it takes us longer to get to the top. If I ever do need to go back to that lifestyle I can always live in my truck because its big enough, AWD and easy to work on. Cant live very well out of a tiny car. The truck is for me more than just a method of transportation. Its a emergency shelter. Its a passion and a statement of the person I am and the things I like to do in my free time.

One thing I learned about living off the grid so to speak is that its easier to store food during the colder months and almost impossible to store them during the summer unless you have regular access to a cooler and fresh ice..... In the winter I could buy a gallon of milk and leave it in the car with me without fear of it going bad, but in the summer after a day it would just spoil.... plus you have to deal with bugs.

Can you hear it? Can you hear it? The world's smallest violin. Perhaps if you didn't own a Rover you wouldn't keep finding yourself in such dire economic situations. A Honda Element has gobs more room than a DII, gets better mileage and maintenance is a fraction of the cost. I just keep thinking back to what I think ACG said about putting your dream of a Rover on hold until your financial situation improves a bit. Sometimes you can't have what you want and foolishly trying to hold on only causes more problems.

I know my words are falling on deaf ears and that all you can think about is owning your Rover. You know there is something very unhealthy about tying, so tightly. to possessions as a means for defining your self. You should read some Lao Tzu.

You shouldn't be drinking milk anyway. What other creature on this planet drinks the output of mammary glands from another species. Milk is a horribly unhealthy drink, especially with the way it's commonly produced with ailing cows on high doses of antibiotics and growth hormones.

Hemp milk is a far better choice.

My wife loves coconut milk in her coffee. Especially, the cream at the top of the can.

Almond milk is great too and it's easy to make your own.
