Another Engine Ticking Question

You know what I think is really funny, a '72 Range Rover and a '04 Disco have the same engine.
The '72 calls for like straight 30 weight and the '04 calls for 5w-40.
My owners manual has 6 different oil viscosity recommendations depending on your weather.
Every thing from 5w-30 all the way up to 20w-60.

Yea funny..if my 04 had a 77 block i probably wouldnt be having all these problems...progress...yea right...

Default Easy Fix this time

I ended up replacing the Mobil-1 5w-30 with Mobil-1 10w-40 and the ticking went away.
