Default Another lift kit question for you.

A 2 inch lift is the maximum lift for a D1 without changing drivelines, brake lines and getting really expensive. Is that accurate? And for companies, I know old man emu, and rovertym are reputable, but what about www.toddcosuspensions.com?

You can go up to 3" without getting too expensive. IF you really plan to wheel your vehicle with a 3" you'll probably want to spend the money for the upgrades like RTE offers so that you don't run into problems in the future. I can tell you that the RTE rear links are a good idea even with a 2" lift. I'm fighting what I believe is my driveline binding because one of my rear links got bent off road causing my rear axle to be out of alignment.

So springs, shocks, front radius arms and rear links? No brake lines or driveline alterations? I just want 33''s. My main concern is castor alignment, and how big a deal is it?

Nope. You should be good to go with that. If you have a rotoflex consider changing to u joint, but it doesn't need to be done right away unless your rotoflex is destroyed all ready (doubt it)

No radius arms, at least till you see how bad you might track with whatever lift you use, no rear trailing arms, at all. I would suggest checking your rubber brake hoses, if they are original, I would change them before one pops, as for the drive line, 3"s on most D1's will mean at least a front drive shaft with a double cardon housing.
Do it in steps so you don't spend more then necessary.

Thanks you guys, makes sense. 2" would fit 33" maybe with light trimming?
