Default Another roof rack question

(We ordered a Baja rack a few months ago and having a really hard time getting it in hand or receiving responses, so it looks like we won't have it in time for the trip we purchased it for.)

Is there a readily available roof rack mount bracket that we can use to mount a generic roof rack? I have a rack we have on my sexy minivan that I can use for this trip.

I prefer buying from nonamazon companies but I am running out of time 😭 I found these, can I use them for my generic roof bars and roof cage?

Yes, I use them for generic/DIY cross bars. They are high enough which allows to open the sunroofs. They are solid, I go loaded with kayak and boards on the freeway over windy mountain passes.

thank you for the reply
Is your photo in that post on sand? How have you found driving in the sand? I'm a little nervous as I have only driven in sand with my geo tracker.

I am definitely going to do something to make the cdl accessible, but not sure how flat the tires I ended up with will get

I've driven my disco in sand a ton at pismo beach and in the backcountry in utah. disco handles it no problem if you're on decent tires. I liked how my truck performed on sand with Falken AT3ws vs BFG KM3s but I never felt close to stuck either way.

No input on roof racks, but I can agree these things are quite good in the sand provided your tires are decent. Just air down first. I've had mine at Silver Lake Sand Dunes a number of times - it always does well and hasn't gotten stuck unless I try to get it up really steep dunes (at which point I just back out without issue).
