Default Another tire size question for a R18

Sorry it might be a silly question.
Is it possible to go from 255/55/R18 in my original DII 2003 SE to a 255/60 or 65/R18?
Have someone try this before? What are the pro and cons?
Thank you

And this is the stock LR3 tires size with 18" wheels, so there are a few choices out there. I had Nitto Terra Grapplers on my last one, and they seems to be a pretty decent tire, although not very aggressive.

For my winter tires I run 255/65/18 and for my summers I run 285/60/18.
I have never had any big issues but your speedometer will be off by 3km/hr.
You also have to realize that with the bigger tire size you will be putting more strain on the factory tire rod ends (track rod and tire rod). So in the future you might want to upgrade to a thicker mm set. So I say go for it.
