Another Trailer Questions
I'm looking at a Palomino Palomini 179bhs with off-road package.
Eventually, I'm looking to tow it with a MKIII, but that's in three years, and I'd like to tow it with the disco II in the meantime (I do have a 2500HD I can use in a pinch, but I really don't want to drive two gas-guzzlers to a camping spot if I don't have to).
The trailer is listed at 2900lbs dry, a tad over 3500lbs GVWR thanks to it's dry hitch weight and 3500# axles.
I should be within tow rating, but I do live in Utah (mountains + Altitude), and I'm really concerned about wheelbase. Is this trailer a bit too long? Should I just "two-vehicle" camp until I get the MKIII?
