Also, where do you drain the power steering fluid from?

paul1454,

No drain plug...you need a turkey baster to suck the old fluid out and replace with new fluid (preferred is synthetic). Drain and fill two times while turning the steering wheel back and forth a few times with each fill. Add Lucas Power Steering additive on the last fill (half bottle if you live in a cold climate).

That's what I thought. Thanks for clarifying.

Yes you can see it in the pic, look at the passenger side of the plenum and you will see a hose coming out of it, then it goes to the valve cover next to one of the heater hoses.
Got it. Just to make sure, is it what I've circled in yellow?

Yes it is what you circled in yellow.

If you remove the outside line from the power steering resevoir and stick it into a empty washer fluid bottle, anti freeze bottle, etc.
Have your wife start the truck while you keep the resevoir full of new Dexron III.
Once the fluid comes out clean turn the truck off, replace hose and top off resevoir.

Okay guys, quick update. Got up today and did an induction cleaning first thing. The remaining seafoam I dumped in the crankcase and the gas tank. While waiting to run the seafoam out, I cleaned the trottle body and put in a new air filter. After driving it around for about 15 miles, I came home and flushed the power steering fluid and refilled - adding lucas additive. Then I moved to the cooling system. Drained everything (those drain plugs on the engine were a pain in the a**). While drained, I went ahead and replaced the tstat. Refilled. Next, I replaced the plugs with bosch +4s. I couldn't replace the wires because they haven't come in yet.

After finishing everything, I took it for a quick drive and it seems to be running smoother and with more power (especially at highway speeds). But the biggest improvement is with my heating system. As long as I've owned the disco the heat has been lukewarm. After replacing the tstat, it is on fire! I love it.

Anyway, tomorrow I will be replacing the fluid in the differentials, transfer case, and tranny. Then I plan on bleeding the brakes and changing the fuel filter. One question about that though, where in the heck is the relay so I can depressurize the fuel system? I've looked everywhere for that and can't seem to find it anywhere.

There is no need to depressurize the fuel system to change the fuel filter.
You can remove the fuel pump fuse while the engine is running.
I have never done either. Just unscrew the old filter and go.

Tried to drain the brake system today and realized that I have no idea how to do it and couldn't find anything about flushing the brake fluid in the rave manual. Sure could use a little advice.

You will need a friend to help you.
You need 2 qts of DOT 4 brake fluid.
10mm wrench and a drain pan.
Start on the passenger rear wheel, open the bleed screw and have your friend push the brake pedal to the floor and hold it, tighten the bleed screw.
Let off brake pedal.
Repeat.
Keep the brake fluid resevoir full of new fluid.
Keep doing this until clean fluid comes out of the bleed screw, tighten bleed screw, move to the other rear wheel.
Then the passenger front, then drivers front.
The engine does NOT need to be running.
