Anyone running a meziere remote thermostat and aluminum radiator in FL? Would you know your min/max coolant temperature? Which thermostat? Type of driving. Thank you.

Can't speak from experience since I am not and have not. But I would expect 180-195 is reasonable.

Are you asking about Meziere units specifically? There are many here with the inline thermostat but I'd be surprised if anyone is spending that kind of $$ for a radiator.

I haven’t measured the temp with the scanner post upgrades, but in south Florida heat, 5 discos hit 212*F and drop maybe 10* till the six fan shuts off, then back up and repeat. Radiator doesn’t have to be specific to the car, just a full aluminum radiator for comparison.

more so the Meziere remote thermostat and their perspective cooling system routing as well (with heater core/without, throttle body heater/with out, etc). Trying to gauge what others temps are and with what set-up as well

For comparison then, I have a 180 deg thermostat and a Hayden HD clutch, otherwise stock setup. TBH and heater core still connected. Just recently replaced the rad with a cheap Amazon unit (prime choice was the name I think), alum fins and plastic end caps, although it did not change my temps. I had a slow leak in the top side near the small hose that goes to the plastic reservoir so I replaced it while doing the HGs.

For mine, 60 mph seems to be the tipping point. Above 60 on the highway, I'm in the high 170s in the morning, to low 180s in the afternoon. Below 60, or in stop and go traffic, I'm at 185-195. If I have a long, low speed climb I may see around 200, but it quickly drops back down once I get back up to speed. Mine doesn't seem to care if its 45 or 85 outside. If it's over 95 it may go a few degrees higher.

I’m with Red5, same setup, and similar temps. It does the same whether it’s 10 degrees outside or 105 and humid.
