Oh, I would also recommend opening your oil pump service cover and thouroughly inspecting your drive gears. I know you don't have an '03, but while you've got the front cover off, you might as well inspect every part you can.

I'm going to tackle my front engine cover leak and figure while I am doing it I may as well take care of my water pump too. The Proline water pump is $80 and the OE from AB is $180. I like to buy OEM whenever possible but I need a PAS pump also so the $100 saved could go towards that.
Anyone have a proline water pump installed?
