Anyone know of a good mechanic...
in the NYC/Fairfield County area? Trying to find a good, reputable independent shop rather than having to deal with the dealership. No problems right now (knock on wood), but wanted to familiarize myself with a good mechanic in the area just in case I need it. I have a '99 DII with 82,000 miles.

Go to www.cartalk.com and they have a place to enter your zip and you can view recommended mechanics in your area.
