Default Anyone know what part this is?

I have a 2003 DII and this morning my wife found this black rubbery part on the ground and some oil under the rover. She emailed me the photo, and I have no clue where this came from but it can't be good for it to just fall out. I haven't noticed any strange sounds, leaks, etc lately; the oil was changed a little over a month ago. Thanks for your help.

Ok, so the part has nothing to do with the rover after being able to look at it first hand. The fluid is power steering fluid...

I would have to say that part is not from your Rover and that you are leaking power steering fluid.

Oh I did. Turns out the hoses for the power steering are bad and need replacing. Ugh. At least it is not the pump.
