I have the arb it’s a good looking bumper it does stick out a bit
I had to get pulled out at my last rover outing and found out this bumper does not have a hook or place to hook a winch line
I had to put a rope around the license plate part than hook the winch on
it’s not the strongest bumper

 

The 03-04 units got rid of the tow hook. The non air bag compatible units are stronger IMHO. The 94-02 units do have tow points on them, but they're pretty thin and any pull that isn't straight will bend them. I've never personally bent one yet, but I've seen them and in Zuke's pic is a prime example.

The ARB is strong for what it is, but if it gets caught and tugged on it can warp/bend (still haven't had that happen). In TX I prefer to have the extra protection for deer. The TF low profile bumper I have on my Kalahari is great for the trail, but since it's almost flush with the frontend a deer would do some damage to the lights, grill, core support, and the hood vs the ARB.

All my D2's have 3inch lifts with either 32 or 33 inch tires and if I pick my line well I have no issues.

 

Say what? Do you see bends on that one? I saw a tab bent but I thought it looked straight. I go on sunday to see in person.

 

I’d snap that bumper up quick. I got mine off a guy trying sell a DII with what he thought was a bad transmission. Got it for $400. Said he got more calls about the bumper than the truck, I just got there first.
