Default Aux Oil pressure gage install

Does anyone have info on who or how to install another , better, oil pressure gage in a 2003 Disco 2? After my recent issure with oil pressure I would like to keep a closer eye on it.

Thanks for the help

I have seen people take a T-fitting and tap out the front cover to accept an NPT fitting. Then they take the factory switch and a mechanical and tie them in. Gauge of your choice..

I have not done this yet, but have the gauges. I wanted to find a fitting that would go right in. If I figure it out, I will let you know. I probably won't start again until the spring. I got an oil pressure gauge and a temp sensor. I am going to put them in a pod on the a-pillar. There are some that fit pretty well.

Go to the top of the Disco section and click on Josh's information, he has a great write up on installing a good gauge.

Thanks Mikie, I just saw that from the link above. I went over to Joshs' site and it looks like a nice clean install.
I like the option of having both temp and PSI reading ability on the one sandwiched between the filter and housing but not sure if I trust it.
Anyone tried that one yet?

I don't see why there would be too much of a difference. If installed correctly and there are no leaks, it should be a correct reading. Maybe a dab of some more oil to offset the very small change in oil capacity.
