Default Axle bearing!

I have a squeak I'm trying to track down. Only happens in gear and when moving. I took my truck in for an oil change this morning and tried to have the mechanic help me track it down..... Well it was up on the lift I got under it and visually checked my drive shafts. The mechanic did tell me that my axle seal was bad on my driver side front axle and my bearings bad on my passenger front. So the mechanic thoroughly looked over my drivetrain and said that's the only problem he sees that could be making that noise. Would most agree with him? If so I'm going to fix both the problems at the same time as for the hub does it come with a new axle seal? Or do I need to buy them separate? I found a pair on ebay oem for 299. Should I just go ahead and replace both what do you guys think please advise?

Squeaks are not typically a symptom of wheel bearing failure. I would definitely pull the front shaft and inspect it before dismissing it; it's far more likely to squeak than a bearing.

I'd also check the idler pulleys and tensioner. They often squeak before failure.

That said, tell us about the squeak.

Is it rhythmic?
Is it proportional to vehicle speed?
Is it proportional to engine RPM?
Does it happen when stopped?
Does it happen in park?

I would have to agree if your hubs were that bad you should have been getting some ABS codes, such a weak signal or something. Only reason i say that is i have replaced a couple really bad hubs, but they also had abs codes in the history,
299 for a pair of NOS hubs is a good price
