So like listed above im having some trouble getting the back door open on my Discovery i was wondering if you guys had any ideas of how to get it open. It looks like the latch is self is rusted out im not sure how to get that open i tried wd40 but nothing.

 

Did you pry the Land Rover emblem off and spray lubricant into the door release mechanism?

 

Yes remove the LR emblem just pops off , but use a penatrating oil like blaster

 

Wow! I have not done that i did not think the emblem came off like that i will do that today actually i have some pb blaster laying around i think. Thanks for the help
