Bad case of Amigos

I had serious issues with Amigos fault codes too, so I did the following work, and have seen NO amigos lights at all for over 50,000 miles, 2004 Discovery:
1. Over the past 50+ years I have done a lot of work with electronic circuity boards, etc., so I am NOT a fan of the shuttle valve circuit board bypass that so many guys seem to like. I would suggest leaving the circuit board as it was originally, and if it is shot, replace it with a good used one; don't bypass it. ...

Option B is a brilliant fix for a faulty designed internal connection IMHO. The H1 guys get the credit for the mod (H1's have the same WABCO Unit). If done properly with some nice 3M Heatshrink Butt Connectors, Option B is far more bulletproof vs buying another $$$$ WABCO Unit that will end up doing the same thing again! WABCO never re-designed it so the flaw is always going to be a possibility. I think the last WABCO Unit I've ever seen was 2010 so it's 8 years old and once again a 50/50 shot. My 3 D2's that I drive = 2 still going on the OEM internal connection, and 1 on the Option B Mod. It doesn't take any functions away, but it does take the flaw out of the system.
You can do the Option B Mod sneaky and it will be impossible to spot. I however like having the 2pin plug mounted back by the actual ABS Pump for diagnostic purposes when I'm testing various Scantool's for LR ABS Code compatibility.
