U should be able to reset the adaptive values w the Nanocom. I don't have one but even my Fuxwell can do it. Engine should begin to run smoother. U can't get into the factory engine programing though. Everyone here wants more engine power..

Did you turn the key to the second position for 20 mins or so before starting the engine? And yes resetting the adaptive values will help. Also be sure and reset the values in the transmission control.

edit....I just went back and read the original post since you said it was doing the same thing, As someone else pointed out this could in fact be an bad actuator in the front door. I really dont know why the dealership wouldnt have looked at that first and ruled it out before pointing to the bcu,

First off why did you go to the dealer ?? They don’t have a clue anymore about these disco

put the original parts back in and start troubleshooting properly
I bet there is nothing wrong with your computers

[QUOTE=Llamasayswhat;684169]I would first suspect an issue with your front right door lock actuator/latch mechanism, I see it alot on mercedes, VW, and audi with bad latch actuators causing alarm issues. If the car is seeing intermittent open closed status, there is a good chance it is getting a bad signal from the door.

Find an independent rover or euro shop in your area and have them check it out.

This is probably the best advise.
Your dome lights are on because it thinks a door is open
