Battery draining on 2000 Land Rover Discovery II
#12
Do you have SLS? If you have SLS and have switched to springs and did not get the computer switched to springs, then it will drain your battery while off. I had the same problem. If you have SLS you can crawl under the driver side and listen to box that has all of the SLS stuff in it while the truck is off. If you here it clicking then it is still active and draining your battery.
An electric drain can be a bear to track down. I hope it is as easy as switching a setting in the computer. Good Luck

The buzzing tic-toc sound from the ABS seems to be normal, I can also hear it with the hood raised. I have had it parked for a couple weeks at a time and haven't noticed any battery issues. If there is a draw from it it's very, very small so I doubt it's what's causing your mysterious battery dump. How old is your battery? Some batteries can start acting up and will spontaneously discharge, and I've had some that I can trickle charge back to being usable (but not reliable) again and some that never hold a significant charge after the first random discharge.
