Default Bcu repair

Aside from Turner in Europe, is there anyone in the US that does BCU repairs? Hopefully in the North East, or do we think a computer repair shop could do it?
I pulled it apart and there are no obvious broken solder joints, rust or burning.
still skeptical that the bcu is the issue, with having swapped it out with the same symptoms. But i do have reduced voltage out of the bcu.

How are you checking the output voltage?

I have I get almost 12v for the drivers side output and the passenger side gets less than 1v. I found a local computer repair shop that is willing to take a look at the board, and if he can find the failed part, will fix it pretty reasonably.
The drivers side being, pins 1 and 4, passenger side, 2 and 6.

I am certainly open to any other ideas. I think I have exhausted every other failure point, the switch, motor, fuses, relays.

I got it back and fixed!!! It turned out it was the broken resistor near the plug. The white piece. Cheap fix.

The place that diagnosed the BCU if anyone needs it done is

How does that explain having the same problem with a different BCU? Maybe the truck is frying the resistors? Not sure if broken resistor meant physically or electronically. Ask him to look at the second BCU, if it has the same problem then something in the truck is likely causing it. Whatever that could be.

Interesting. I agree that it does not make sense. The resistor was cracked, chipped. I do not why I assumed it did not matter, I knew it was broken all along. I did fry a bunch of fuses, 3 and 33. And the glove box light does not work, which i believe is connected somewhere along those lines.

At this point, I am not looking a gift horse in the mouth. After the dash lights fixed themselves after taking it all apart, I think I am going to let it be until something else breaks.
Fingers crossed.

Ahhh, well I doubt the truck cracked the resistor on its own . Who is the repair guy? I'm interested in your opinion of him. He's right around the corner from me too and I'm looking for someone to repair some home audio equipment. Does it seem like that's in his wheelhouse?

I would take it to him, he is super knowledgeable and if he can't fix it he would tell you. Seems to be really nice guy too. Lots of communication from him.
