Beating a dead horse on snorkels
Also meant to add. The stock Airbox, which has been said here before, is not water tight. I had mine out yesterday and decided to perform a dunk test. The exit tube from the box is a clip-in fit without any gasket or o-ring. It leaked badly in the dunk. I took it apart and added silicone which should fix it. The lid/box seal is not great as the clip pressure is very uneven and likely gets worse with age. Mine did not leak on the front side in a 30 second test on a half dunk, but I cant say about the entire seal as it was hard to dunk the back half with the intake port and exit locations. Best to assume it will slow water down but if submerged for any real time it could be trouble. As they say, never stop in the river.
Drain port on the airbox, mine has this but it is not a one way valve as some have mentioned. This is on a 04. Totally two way, water out and in. But it is small.
