looking through the electrical library the closest thing I can find for this plug is for ACE, but my truck was never equipped with it far as I can tell. Is this a typical thing to be included in a Non-ACE harness, or is this a sign someone replaced the harness? Or could it be that ACE was removed? Also does anyone know what this little brown one is?
The harness is often the same regardless of the original vehicle equipment. It does not indicate that anything was removed.
Removing ACE would be a pretty substantial undertaking. There would be physical evidence where the rams were.
Yo! Hit this website vindecoderz.com (I know it sounds sketchy but it works for old D2’s) -- it pulls up the build sheet ... and if you see ACE/Active cornering, it will tell you if the truck came spec’d with it.
I just put my 2000 in and this is what you are looking for:
He’s right btw. Usually when people remove ACE, they leave the lines and valve block in place, it’s actually not that hard to remove the system, but the lines and certain components probably would still be there.
