Factory skip buttons work. All you lose is the CD Chnager. You can have two inputs one from USB, one from a Grom specific cable and Bluetooth if memory serves.

I just did this, per your suggestion. Didn't find any info on a kit for the Disco... Seems like they make a lot of products, some of which is related to audio. Can you be more specific?

I’m pretty sure you just pull your head unit out- I plug the cd changer clip- plug in the blood both box.

Pair your devise.
when you search grom’s page - you only have a cpl options. Bloothtooth, or an aux box which you can plu in your phone. I just stashed my receiver box behind head unit so and don’t need to plug anything into it.
It really doesn’t get any easier,

i believe there is a car audio additional kit- which is a mic you would purchase, plug into box & rout to somewhere nearby the driver cabin.
When a phone call comes to my phone - I can answer it and hear the other person on the car audio - but I don’t care to talk thru my car, so I didn’t care to install mic, so I just answer phone. Make sense?

I already have one of those myself, that's what I'm looking to upgrade. Biggest con is the battery life, since you can't keep it plugged in while it's in the cassette player. Button functionality isn't preserved in a cassette adapter. I'm also not a fan of the cassette quality, and would prefer a direct hardwire connection, myself.

Seems like the GROM is the way to go. I've been debating between that and sending the stereo away for the aux port install.

I think that there is one that can be plugged in while playing. Again, Amazon
