Ironically you say made in Germany but LR claim made in Britain but the majority of parts are made all around the globe so it should say 'assembled in Britain'

This is a brake fluid thread, the "brake fluid" is made in Germany. Hence why I said that. Pretty sure we're all clear on where the LR comes from.

My wife loves the fact that many parts are made in France, especially the seat belts- Autoliv. Most of the plastic molded interior parts are made by Borbon, a company she did business with when she worked in France.

But that's like saying a part was made in Texas on a car assembled in Michigan.

All done. Brakes feel so much better now. Used a whole quart before clean fluid started coming out the last bleed nipple. I'm just below the minimum mark on the reservoir. Need to get more at Pep Boys to top it off.

The lug bolts were a bitch to get off, the tire place must have had their impact wrench on the highest setting. Had to sacrifice one of the lugs.

Here's a pic of my set up, basically old skool way of using the wife to pump the brakes. I put a little bit of brake fluid in the jar to submerge the end of the hose. Bleeder screw is 11 mm.

When you get tired of the wife saying "are we done yet" you can jump the ABS pump and use that to pump your brakes

Good to know. Since I am the one who maintains her X5, she better also be ready to pay for her own maintenance.
