Towing another disco
Yes, But for how long and what conditions is the question.
I have a tow bar like the one used behind an RV and occasionally tow a disco with a disco. I would never do it on the freeways, and stopping can be fun, the disco behind you wants to push you all over the place.

The U-Haul auto transport trailer with electric brakes is actually quite capable of handling the tow weight of a Discovery. What you need is a tow vehicle that can handle the combined weight of the Disco + the trailer, typically a 2500 series pickup truck with a curb weight of +5,000 lbs and a big V8 or Diesel engine.
Yeah. For the record - don't lie to U-Haul about how you plan to use their tow equipment. Bad idea.
Tell them you need to haul a VW bug!
They are strict because of all the idiots out there...they ruin it for everyone else.
I tried to rent one once...I had a G3500 1 ton Chevy van, they wouldn't approve of towing a 1970 f100 2-wheel drive pickup...Instead I bought a 100 dollar tow bar off Craigslist, towed the truck 5 hours away to its new owner, then sold the tow bar on Craigslist for 125!!

One of the local rover Indy shops who is no longer in business (Land Rover salvage, or also known as global British). They used to also be a u hall dealer and he had countless pictures of people hauling in a rover behind another rover on a uhaul transport.
You can certainly tow with another D2 but you need to disconnect the driveshafts of the towed truck if it's an auto if going anything more than a few yards also you need the engine running if it's not a rigid tow otherwise your brakes will be near useless and prolly shunt the tow truck in the rear end. Good luck but if it were me I'd put it on a car trailer/transporter ..................... less hassle.
