Default Brake bleeding procedure, with computer

It's time again to flush the brakes on my truck. I've always done it the old fashioned way described in the RAVE and had good success, but I'd like to try another method this time.

I am using the Delphi software that SuperSport shared on this forum a few years ago. It has the ability to bleed the brakes, but there are no instructions. Does anyone have instructions about bleeding the brakes with the computer or a diagnostic tool? Do you just open the bleeder screw and activate the modulator one corner at a time until new brake fluid comes out? I'll welcome any pointers. Thanks.

I don't know the answer but I DO know, if you open the bleeder screw, fluid will just start dripping out.

Min01, you might have to bleed the modulator a couple of times to achieve a firm brake pedal. Finalise the brake bleeding using the traditional method, starting furthest away from the master cylinder working around to the nearest. Only use this method after the modulator bleed sequence.

SuperSport was a bit of a whizkid on the computers. We also worked up a steel cage design for a front driveshaft arrester. He even talked me into buying a drone.

The Foxwell NT510 (now NT520) does an excellent job of modular bleeding and power bleeding the ABS with step by step instructions...

I finally got around to starting to flush the old brake fluid today after I replaced the right rear wheel speed sensor. I connected the computer and once I clicked on "Bleed Modulator" the instructions popped up, and just like the photos JUKE179r posted, it said to first do a manual bleed. If you're supposed to first do a manual bleed, what's the point of the power bleed?

Also, I know it's been noted here before, but the RAVE bleed sequence seems strange (RF, LF, RR, LR). The conventional bleed sequence, starting farthest from the master cylinder and working toward it, would be RR, LR, RF, LF. Do any of you know why the RAVE shows such a different sequence?

BONUS QUESTION: What does RAVE stand for? No Google cheating!

You want to make sure there is no air in there before the power bleed I would suspect. So manual 1st to get raid of any air then power. But this is just a guess.

RAVE is a party for you do adults, usually with music and dancing, at which recreational drugs are sold.

See? I didn't look it up!
