Default Brake Pad questions... Akebono

I ordered my pads from advanced auto. I got two sets of pads, Eur676 front, Eur493 back. I have not yet done the brakes on this beast before so it is new to me. I was a little concearned about the size of the Eur493. I have read in the forums that these are correct, but I just wanted to make sure. Thanks in advance.

Those are the correct rear ones.
Have you done the brakes before?
How are your rotors?

Those are correct as Bundu stated. Easy job. I just did new drilled slotted rotors and Akebono's on my 02, with a full flush and bleed. What a difference. I now have a great pedal. Found a leaking seal left rear in the process and fixed it the next weekend. Get a caliber piston tool at Autozone (cheap) and make sure your pistons are all the way in before re-assembly.

I have done them on my jeeps and tacoma. From what I understand these are easier. My dad loves projects like this so he will be helping me. Plus he has the garage and tools. Rotors look good feel smooth with a tiny lip. Ill check them once the tires are off. I have checked ahead to make sure they are in stock if needed. Any other advice or things I should look for and do while I am in the project?

Will do. I was planning on a flush and bleed. I have referbished set of calipers I picked up just in case. Figure I'll need them someday and it was a steal of a price.

It's an easy job. I use a G clamp to push back the brake calipers, I also bleed the brake fluid out when I push the calipers back instead of pushing that back into the reservoir.

Just did Akebono from and rear with new LR Rotors. You will not be disappointed. I was told by a few people not to do drilled and or slotted as they destroy the pads at a faster rate. So be careful with that.

I have Akebono and drilled rotors (got them dirt cheap of eBay around $160 for all 4 shipped, although I see no need for drilled or slotted on a DII) front and rear with over 60K on them and they still have plenty of pad left.
