brake problem
Well on the disco I just got the brakes are acting funny. The anti-lock brake light is on and when I am braking some of the times it makes this weird noise that sounds like it is coming from in front of the drivers side and it feels like the driver side front brake either locks or unlocks and the braking feels a little different right after. Any ides? Also it sounds like a popping noise in the suspension in the same side of the vehicle. Thanks, spencer

RE: brake problem
Ok, since you have a DI pull the fuse to the ABS, the light will stay on but the brakes will work like normal non-ABS brakes. No more noise, no more not being able to stop, no more pulsating brake pedal on dry pavement.
If you want ABS then you will have to go and have the ABS codes read at the dealer, unless you can find a mechanic who can read Rover ABS codes, I couldnt.
If you get the codes read then you can see how much ABS is worth to you, starting price is $400, it goes up from there.
