Default Brake question's,

Are these good brake pads and rotors, I want really good stopping power

Also if the brake light stays on sometimes even when the E-brake is not pulled do you think the line is busted or something?

Yes those will be good brakes.
If your brake light is on check your brake fluid level.
Make sure that you do a complete brake fluid flush when you do your new brakes.

The brake light staying on indicates a problem with the brake system. Could be something simple as low brake fluid level like Spike suggested but you need to find and fix the problem before you drive the car anymore.
