Default Brake questions

First off, I need to get longer brake lines (looking at SS atm) for the vehicle. I have a 2" suspension lift and I will be wheeling without sway bars. Any recommended lengths?

Also I want to remove the brake dust guards because crap keeps getting stuck in there and making a lot of noise until I blast it out. Do they serve any real purpose on the Rover?

And my final question, getting longer brake lines is easy, but what about the ABS sensors on each wheel? Can I cut them and add more wire or is there another way?

The brake lines come 2" longer, that should be all you need.
As for the ABS wires, leave them out of their brackets and you should be fine.
As for the dust shields, yes you can remove them.

There are ABS extensions, no you don't want to cut your and if you just reroute the current lines as Spike mentioned you should be fine.
Just curious who lift are you running?

I'm going to pick up some braided line from the off road warehouse next to me, it is a quarter of the cost for materials. I was just curious about how much longer i should make them.

And I'll look into the ABS extensions. Sounds like the only viable route.

I bought a 2" lift (4 new coil springs and 5 shocks) from Old man emu

The only reason I was asking regarding what lift, if you don't have pretty heavy coils it can get a little squirley.
If you get brake lines, get all 6 so you avoid blowing one of the 2 under the firewall from age and heat.

You can get the ABS extensions from RTE. I think I paid about a $100 for them.

I didn't think about the ones on the firewall, I'll be sure to check them out. Also I bought some HD Springs and I've tested out driving on and off road without the rear sway bar. Much better performance in my opinion. I was mindful of the short brake lines however so it is moving up on my priority list.

And I'll look into those ABS extensions. Thank you.
