Brake Rotor Warping Problem!

Brake Rotor Warping Problem!
I have a 01' Disco II with 103K miles. I have changed the front brakes twice, the first time I replaced the rotors and pads at the same time. All went well for the first 500 miles then the rotors started to warp(brake peddle started to pulsate when braking). The second time I changed the pads and had the rotors turned within spec. They did the same thing within 500-600 miles.
I have never had this problem before, I have been doing brake jobs on all my vehicles for a very long time. But, this is the first Disco. though.
Any help would be much appreciated.

drive the truck around for about 5 miles step on the brakes a few times and then with your IR gun get out and check the temps of the rotors, it could be a sticking MC that has had the seals swell due to mixing of the different fluids,
once the MC get hot then the seals will not retract as quickly,
thus a dragging brake,
then it will overheat,
then it will warp.
Retrace you steps with the brake fluid, might you also have done a fluid flush with say Valvoline Syn??
I would suggest Castrol GTX brake fluid in the Rovers, this will keep mixing fluids to a minimum and reduce the possibility of swelled MC seals

Thank you for the info, that very well could be the issue here. I was thinking that something was sticking causing them to get hot. Just not sure what.

You need to keep in mind that the Disco is a 4500lb brick and it takes alot of braking power to stop it so you need to slow down early.
Do a complete brake fluid flush.
Check and make sure that your rear calipers are working.
If the fronts are working to hard they will heat up and warp the rotors.
You have equal brake force distribution, meaning that the ABS modulator sends equal amounts of brake power to all four wheels at the same time...as long as things are working correctly.
Land Rover recommends doing a complete brake fluid flush every 24 months or 24,000 miles, which ever is sooner.
I do mine every 2 years no matter what.
