The only way to tell is to take the wheel off and mic the rotor. Then compare that to the minimum thickness allowed. Not sure what that is on an 03...

On my truck with nearly 100,000 miles on it, I have only put 1 new set of rotors, yes, I have a lip and they are not warped and do not shake from heat.
