Default Brakes

Hi
Not sure if this is covered anywhere else, if it is i apologize.
While driving home from work last week in a heavy downpour the warning lights for the Brake, ABS, Traction Control and Hill Descent came on when I applied the brakes. They went out shortly after but came on again the next day and stayed on. I checked the brakes and found the rear pads gone and the rear calipers seized. I had the pads and calipers replaced, but the lights are still on.
Is there something else that should be done?
My nearest dealer is 450km away and I don't want to make the trip unless absolutely necessary.
Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks
Brian

Do a search for "Three Amigos" and you'll find TONS of info.

Best of luck! It's the DII owner's curse, but it can be remedied.

Default Thanks

Thanks for your quick responses. I have done some searching on the "3 Amigos" and it looks as if it is a problem not easily solved by the backyard mechanic!
Maybe I will have to take it to the dealer and let them have a look at it.

Once again thank you.

Where are you located? It might be cheaper for you to buy a $200 3 amigo scanner test it, repair it and clear the code then having to do with a shop where it will cost you alot more. Then you can resell the scanner on line for $150 or more to recover some of your total cost.
