Default Brakes

i have a Disco 2, 1999, and had all four rotors and pads replaced about six months ago. they are squeeling very badly when i lightly hit the brakes or when i am going very slow with out hitting the brakes. i dont know what kind of pads this place used, but i know they used rotors from land rover, should i replace the pads and if so which ones would you recommend or should i have it looked at by landrover. i had them done at a place in jax,fl called brake depot. it was rather expensive with parts and all so they only did the rears. i had a former old boss do the fronts for me so i hate to ask him to look at them again.
thankl

Default RE: Brakes

Are you sure they used genuine rover pads and rotors? Some aftermarket pads are made of a harder friction material causing a squeal. I have done this on customers vehicles- had to send the aftermarket pads back as defective and used the genuine rover pads. They will cost more, but only do the job once. Thanks.
