Default Which Brakes??

I'm looking to replace the brakes on the disco, I'm looking at replacing rotors and pads. Probably cross drilled or dimpled. Looking for some opinions, I do use it for off road.

Thanks
Brian

Don't do the EBC slotted and dimpled, they are a waist of money cause the dimples do nothing to vent the hat gases.
Go to, http://www.dap-inc.com/homeframe.htm for the best package price using DBA rotors and Kevlar pads.
I have been running a set for nearly 65,000 miles with plenty of pad left and great stopping power.
Any questions, get back to me.

I'm waiting on a set of DBA's now but stock pads, I'll let you know what I think once they're on. I'm fairly picky about brakes. I wish there were good mud tires in 18" just so I could fit 17" rotors and big calipers.

ajh,
Just for what it is worth, I put on a set of factory pads and went thru them in about 14,000 miles, they won't hold up to the DBA design and alloy.

I've actually got someone looking at putitng some better calipers on. Should know in a day or so. If I go that way it'll be in the fall most likely.

Anyone try Rovers North ProLine brand? They seem to have really good prices on their discs and pads. I wouldn't be real comfortable with the pad option, but saving that much money on decent rotors is worth a try.
