I'm working on the engine and need to reach a bit further back, so I place my knee on top of the front bumper for a quick lift and begin wrenching. Then, suddenly, CRACK! The top of the front bumper shatters into eight pieces. Really, Rover?

 

And there is not much use buying another used one, even if you could find/afford it. They have been cooked by the elements and will just break again. I wish China would start making replacement bumpers.

 

the best thing you can do is replace it with a steel bumper, it will just happen again.
you can get steel bumper from $600-1400.
if your not planning on spend your time rock climbing the lower end models are fine.

 

Same here...just barely kissed the garage door opening and cracked my passenger end cap. Replacing it with a ARB.
