So no go on the air hammer with a punch attachment, and every bolt on this transfer case is locked on there, I can't even get the bracket bolt loose for the old linkage it rounded off so for that I'm just cutting as close to the bracket on both sides of the old linkage and then zip tie the new one to it, so for the lever the only thing left is to saw the pin off on one side and dremelit out

Well I have thrown in the white flag, I tried to get the bolts loose for the housing so I could take the lever out....call me a split tail but I couldn't get them to budge. I also bought an angle air drill from harbor freight and I managed to grind the pin down flush to the lever on one side but could not get a drill bit to fit in there for the life of me. So that's it any body have any other suggestions other than have it towed....I'm glad I added towing to my insurance, to the shop and let them get it done.

Only thing I can think of is to cut the linkage off (dremel cut-off wheel) and drill it out on a bench. To me, now the real issue is getting the housing bolts off though. I take it you already tried PB Blaster/Liquid Wrench and 6-point sockets? If so, next step I believe is welding a socket on.
