You might want to PM me this morning with your tele number and I can walk you thru this.
Mike,

When you say 'door latch', you mean the entire assembly, right? (this would be the lock where the key is inserted and the handle itself)

I have the same problem and found a used exterior left front handle with key. If I buy it and replace the broken lock, can I use two keys (the original one for the inginiton switch and the key for the replacement handle?

that or you can order a new door handle and locked, keyed to your truck. It will run about $165 and will take three weeks to get it from England. Phil

I checked with Miramar Land Rover in San Diego. Any dealer ought to be able to get it for you. You might also call Atlantic British or British Pacific. They might be able to get it as well for a discount. Good Luck. I ended up finding the piece of the locking mechanism that was broken, changed out the part and all was good. Bummer is my daughter's purse was stolen from her work on Friday, I had just bought, cut and programmed a new key/remote for her to take back to school, dang. Aside from the cash, cash cards and license issues, I now get to buy another key/remote, have it cut and then have it programmed. Phil
