Default Broken door lock

Dear all,
I have a broken driver's door lock in a 97 Disco I. The key cylinder was forced and came out. Question: Can I change just the door lock and keep 2 different keys; one for the driver's door and alarm disarm and another key for ignition?
Or do I need to change both, door lock and ignition lock, to keep alarm working?
Thanks

You can have two separate keys.

You MIGHT even be able to cut one key both ways, door on one side, ignition on the other.
