A/c drain location
Yep, they come right out. Just push the bottom tabs aside and the nipple comes out. Because they get crusty, hit it with a little WD-40 first. Really not needed but it makes the tip come away easier.
Once removed you will be amazed at how much water drains out with the AC on. And on the flipside, when the nipples are in and blocked, why the water backs up so quickly into the interior.

You may want to clean it up well and reinstall if possible depending upon your local tiny critter situation. Ants/roaches may like the easier access and some bugs may make nests that will need to be cleared out occasionally to keep drains open.

Instead of coathanger wire I recall someone, somewhere, suggesting using plastic string trimmer line because it is more flexible and, I presume, because it won't pierce a soft rubbery hose.

As far as critters/bugs "anything" is possible but I've yet to find anything besides little tiny spiders crawl up there, die, and drain right back out lol.
Only time I had something jab into an a/c drain was on a Mitsubishi Montero (Gen 1), after I drove thru some tall grass off roading. A darn mexican hat flower hit the bullseye and stopped it up like a cork lol. The drain was no where near as protected like they are on a LR.
