Can you please help identify this screw/washer that works with the XYZ switch
Hello Good People,
I was making adjustments to my XYZ switch and the wave washer broke.
Can some please identify what washer I need?
Also what is the name of this type of screw connection?
Is there anything newer/ more modern that would work?
Might as well replace it if possibly something I can get at a locate hardware store.

RAVE calls it a trunnion. A quick Google search showed that there are many styles of trunnions. A good hardware store may have something that could be adapted to work for you.
It's not clear in the photo just what's wrong with yours or how it's broken.

Thank you for the much needed reply mini01!
I provided another image.
Right below the bolt head is to be a thin washer. The washer reminds me of a kings crown that has been made flat.
So this is called a trunnion bolt that tension fits the shifter cable to the arm that is responsible for gear shifting?

I think I got the correct washer for this.
The PO had the washer right beneath the bolt head, is this correct?
It seems like the washer should instead be directly under the nut, is this correct?

For the love of God I cannot find these wave spring washers anywhere locally.
I have tried NAPA, AutoZone, PepBoys, KOI, HomeDepo, Lowes, ACE, and a few mom & pop stores.
Where are people getting them from?
There is a Rover dealership 40 miles away.
What size is needed?

OffroadFrance,
Thank you for the response!
I cant even find that type of serrated washer either. I will try to make one from the image in the #4 post. I will cut off the inner teeth and gently bend the washer until I can locate the correct parts.
Thank you
