Guess I don't care for the oval shaped steering wheel grip on the 03. Would an 02 swap right in? The grip on the 02's are more 'round' right?

they have the same part numbers, the only difference is the last three letters depicting the color. apparently the two years have some different colors, but should fit fine.

my 03 is oval shaped, not sure about the 02

 

What I'd like to do is get away from an oval one and go with 'round' on an 03.

 

I'm 90% sure that it is also oval shaped. Don't know for positive, but I'm relatively sure.

I wonder if you could just swap a D1 wheel over? I was looking into swapping steering wheels a while back myself, but I was looking at some kind of aftermarket wheel. Never could find one to fit and it dropped to the bottom of my priorities list.
