CAN'T PULL OUT HEATER RETURN PIPE TO REPLACE "O" RING and then some
...IT'S ALIVE, IT'S ALIVE! AND RUNS!
......
...thanks for the late heads-up NUMBER9, although everyone knew what was being discussed, and is actually called "Pipe Heater Intake Manifold to Heater Hose"; thing is that the leak at the manifold and pipe seems to have been stopped, other minor repairs and major maintenances that came up along the way were taken care of, and the Landy is running nicely at a first glance, why wouldn't it, right? ;-]#
...sure seems, and highly recommended by my AC friend (the one that helped get the pipe out); stops pretty much every leak at the joints, and it is not an adhesive, is just a good and powerful sealant. ;-]#

..:: UPDATE ::..
Happy to let ya'll know that the trouble that started this thread has been resolved, or so it seems after a couple days of driving to and from work.
No leak signs at the union of the pipe and the engine, and the leak that appeared when I first started the truck after all this fix/clean-up, at the joint of the heater hose and the matrix pipes, also stopped; I guess it was a matter of trying to push the hose further in and re-clamping it.
Also, I've been purging the system every morning -or after a long rest of the engine, since I can still hear the "waterfall" inside the truck, mostly when accelerating after stopping for a bit at a stop light, or when in 3rd gear; but it has diminished, so I guess I just have to do it a couple more times 'till it goes away.
I will recheck the belt and the fan, just to be certain all is correctly put and tightened, since I hear it every now and then squeaking, hopefully is just coolant or water remains after purging, then it goes away... the fan I thought to see rotating a bit weird, maybe it was just an impression, but I'll look into it after coming back from taking my wife's C320 to the mechanic, gotta get that transmission flushed and filter replaced, hopefully that will solve the startling experienced at low gears.
I'll post back with any further updates, Happy Rovering ya'll! ;-]#
