Default Can't Start

Members,
Greetings from a new member.
1. I hve a disco II, had to fit a new fuel pump, after such.
2. Engine refuse to start.
3. Engine cranks but won't fire
4. No neg signal from ECU for fuel pump
5. Help" I believe immobilizer may be the cause.
6 Fobs not always working, was a mainly using key to lock/unlock doors
7. Fitted new battery, how do I bypass immobilizer ?

1. reset inertia switch on firewall

2. if it is immobilization, the LED on dash will stay on steady with key on.

3. can't bypass immobilizer with jumpers, etc.

4. check all fuses in underhood fuse box.

5. Fuel pump should be heard for 2 seconds at position 2 of ignition key.

Pls r u talking about the switch for the fuel pump located in the engine compartment?

Yes, this one on the firewall of the compartment under the bonnet. Takes down fuel pump and the main relay which kills injectors, etc. Push down on soft top to reset. But if you have that constant red light mentioned above you have additional problems.
