Cap busted off lug nut

Default Cap busted off lug nut

Now what can I do to get the rest of the nut off? Trying to do brakes and the last lug nut did this...very frustrated

Just use a socket. Not sure what size, but it will be a little smaller than your lug wrench.

X2 use a socket and a breaker bar.

trying to search for size but not finding it. It looks rounded off under there too...

try a 6 point socket not sure of the size maybe a 21MM

Worst comes to worst, you can always get a nut/bolt extractor. They come in really handy. Problem is I don't know if you'll find one big enough.

Got it, it's a 26mm. Now on to fight the rotor off, then the ebc's will be done!

I used a impact hammer and a large phillips bit to get that screw out of the rotor.

OK got 'em done. they are fantastic! I should be alright with only 4 lug nuts on each rear for a few days, right?
