Or run some lamp wire from the battery in your truck directly to the motor.

I've kept a 12V, 2 amp power supply from some long forgotten piece of electronic equipment that I use for test purposes.

Have you tried lubricating the window track with pigs blood?

Checked the F34 fuse this morning and it was blown. Replaced it then rolled up the front drive window successfully. 30 minutes later the front windows are inoperable once again. Checked F34 AND F13 fuses once again and both are good. Swapped the yellow relay with another relay of same value and nothing. Checked engine bay fuse box and specifically F13 and it is also good. Cleaned up the battery terminals but nada. Least the window is rolled up now.

So is there any way to test/verify weather the bcu is actually bad? If the bcu controls everything from headlights to washers and the security system... and all said functions are working properly then how could the bcu be bad?

PS: I had to use ceremonial pigs blood when I installed the cheap Proline window motor last year. Just a precaution.

A Hawkeye scan tool lets you test circuits.
Push a button and make a specific window go up and down. A good circuit could point to a short in the widow motor or connection.
Could the track be binding, broken bushing/plastic wheel, and not letting the window move?

You can also test by connecting a multi-meter to the BCU pins for the windows and check output voltage when the window switch is activated.

I'm not an expert, but I think it would be possible for the window control section of the BCU to fail and for other functions to continue to operate. Your kidney could stop functioning but the rest of you could be okay (for a while at least).

That idea is supported by the fact that all the window output functions of the BCU are on a separate BCU connector, with only one other component on the same connector. The RAVE is your friend.

And the blown fuses are a symptom, not a cause.
