Center Diff Lock Models
I am looking to buy a used Disco II. I know they dropped the center diff lock around 2001-2004, but then reinstated it when Land Rover realized what idiots they were
I know back in the UK it was a cost option unless you got the SE/HSE models, but I don't know what the deal was in the States.
So, did all post 2004 Discos come with center diff lock, or was it an option?
Not having owned an old Disco (Defender Driver) is it the same activation (move low/high lever to the left) or electrically operated. Just so I know what I'm looking for when I go look at one
Thanks

The 1999 to early 2001 Disco II's have a CDL, but no lever to actuate it. You'll need to add your own, either from a Disco I, from a 2004, or one of the aftermarket ones, a la Ashcroft, etc.
Scratch that duh! I know the LR3 was introduced in 2004

You can get 2005 Discovery 2s in other parts of the world.
