Default Center jacking points

Since I've been spending way too much time this week under my wife's Honda Civic, it's been nice to be able to jack it up by the front crossmember under the radiator. Is there any place like that on the front of our D2s? That would support the full weight of the vehicle?

I jack mine up on the diff.
Sure it's a little wonky going up but I always lower it on jack stands on the axle tubes before I crawl under.

That's what I've been doing too, but since both diffs are offset it's not as even and secure as I'd like.

Hitch receiver for the rear works well. I'd assume the front cross member would too though I've never tried. Both are kinda high up. You'll need a tall jack. I use a 4 ton floor jack.

Another AvE viewer? Honestly the HF floor jacks are pretty good. I looked at those before I got mine but ended up with a 4 ton from tractor supply on black Friday for... $100!

If you've already got a big floor jack then get yourself a section of 6x6 and use it between the jack and truck.

Haha, I understand that. A good pics of 6x6 placed sideways should work pretty well though. If it still makes you uncomfortable then you can remove the circular plate on top of your jack, take the bolt in to Lowe's or fastenal. Get one the same thread size but 6" longer and bolt the 6x6 block to your jack with the jack plate on top. Easy peasy.
